Welcome to Desert Garden Montessori!
Desert Garden is a school dedicated to the education of the whole child. We believe education begins at birth and continues throughout life. We involve family and community members as essential elements of the educational environment. It is our aim to prepare an environment that enables children to develop to their fullest potential, engaging intelligence in multiple aspects that extend from linguistic and mathematical through artistic, physical, social and beyond. Desert Garden students grow to be confident, capable, and healthy individuals.
Our education respects the individual pace of children’s development using multi-sensory materials in an integrated curriculum; it also fosters leadership and communication skills, research and critical thinking. This background prepares students to meet whatever challenges they choose later in life, whether in the realm of academics, entrepreneurship, or elsewhere. From this nurturing and supportive “garden” we strive to grow children who will reach their full potential in all aspects of life.
