Hello Classroom 8 Parents,
I am excited to be back at Desert Garden Montessori as a Primary Lead teacher. I have been a part of this amazing community since July 2014, and left for the past year, to gain further education and knowledge to continue my growth as an educator.
After having my first son, I realized my passion for the Montessori education and decided to change from an accounting career to becoming an educator. I believe this amazing community provides the best environment for children to learn. As Maria Montessori once said, “The child is truly a miraculous being, and this should be deeply felt by the educator.” I believe and live by this every day.
I was born and raised in Mexico City. In 2009, I was hired by a company and given the opportunity to move and begin my career here in Phoenix. I am proud to bring Spanish to the classroom through songs, books, lessons, games, and everyday phrases.
We know we will serve the needs of the children well in the areas of connection, socialization, and age-appropriate academics. With your continuous support, we will thrive in this new normal.
I also want you to know that I am not just here for the children, I am here for you as well. I believe in open and honest communication. Though our face to face contact may be limited at the beginning of the year, through email and phone calls, we will stay connected. Now, more than ever, it will be vital for our relationship to be transparent in order for us to best serve your child and your family as a whole.
My contact information is email@example.com. Please also keep an eye on the Classroom 8 page on our website for additional updates on our communication systems.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon!
