Ms. Tessa Musel works as a primary Lead Teacher in Classroom 2. Before becoming a lead, Ms. Tessa started her Montessori journey in 2009 in a small Montessori school in the late day program. As she learned more about the pedagogy, she decided to seek more information about how the classroom functions during the school day and what the Montessori Philosophy is truly about. It was from this curiosity she discovered Desert Garden Montessori. She started as an assistant in Classroom 2, gained experience, and became a Lead Teacher after obtaining her Montessori Education Certification. Ms. Tessa and her husband, Chris have two children, Graydon and Emmalyn, who started attending Desert Garden Montessori in 2014.
