Dear Friends,

Each spring, we host the Dream Event, our signature community and fundraising event of the year, a beloved tradition for parents and staff alike.  This year’s event was scheduled for Saturday, April 2 with a “Welcome Home” theme.  It was going to be a magical Farm to Table dinner experience hosted right here on campus.

Unfortunately, our events here at Desert Garden Montessori have been, and continue to be, greatly impacted by COVID19.  We are still receiving feedback and RSVP responses that the majority of the community is just not quite ready to gather in person for such an event at this time.  As the last few years have taught us, we must continue to adapt and evolve with the needs of our families and the community.  With this, we have made the decision to postpone the Dream Event.  If you have already purchased tickets or sponsorship for Saturday, April 2, we will be reaching out to you personally.

But here at Desert Garden Montessori, we dream big, and the Dream Event never dies!  Therefore, we are excited to share we are moving the Dream Event to this fall — Saturday, September 24, 2022.  Please save the date and stay tuned for additional communications regarding the new event date!  While moving the event to a date later in the year drastically impacts our fundraising opportunities, we feel it is most important to be sensitive and responsible to the community’s feedback as we continue to navigate these waters together.
