Our goal at Desert Garden Montessori is to create a culture where children are fed healthy, locally grown foods and learn to love farm fresh meals because they have grown and cooked them themselves.
The Wellness Garden Market is an interactive and delicious experience that children are invited to participate in daily. Every morning, students from each classroom bring a reusable bag to the Wellness Garden Market to select a wholesome homemade snack that always includes fresh, seasonal, locally grown produce. The harvest, along with nutrition information about each ingredient, is brought back to the classroom to be prepared mindfully and shared with every child.
